During the Diaspora Conference on October 7, 2012, in the presence of (His Excellency Kenyan Ambassador Hon. Elkanah Odembo – Washington DC, Kenya UN Mission – Permanent Representative Hon. Ambassador Dr. Josephine Ojiambo, Key Note Speaker Nation Media CEO Mr. Linus Gitahi, Kenya Vision 2030 CEO Mr. Kibati, Nairobi Stock Exchange and Ken Gen CEO Mr. Ed Njoroge, General Electric Africa Representative (GE), National Cohesion & Integration Commission Chairman Dr. Kibunjia among others. Isaac Kuria was recognized and received an award for the great work that MoGH has done and continues to do; as well as community leadership and organization Hon. Ambassador Odembo presented the award.
During the Talanta Awards annual ceremony in summer 2010, in the presence of honorable H.E Kenyan Ambassador to the United Nations, New York Mr. Zachary Mburi Muita, Ms. Meggie Waruri-Talanta CEO among other dignitaries, Isaac Kuria was honored for his contribution and social citizenship to the people of Kenya.
